First Responders Children's Foundation
What they do
Provides scholarships and emergency financial support to children of firefighters, police, EMS, and other first responders killed or catastrophically injured in the line of duty. Also funds youth programs run by responder agencies.
Goals
- Keep children in school after a parent is killed or injured on duty
- Issue emergency grants when a family is suddenly without income
- Support camps and programs that connect responder kids to community
